Owned by one of the few board certified feline veterinary specialists in Ontario, Village Cat Clinic is a fully functioning animal hospital in Ancaster, exclusively for feline patients.
Established in 1995, the veterinarians and staff at Village Cat Clinic personally understand the special bond you share with your cat. We continue to strive for compassionate high quality care. With an extensive history in veterinary practice, our dedicated staffs are able to keep up with the latest in feline medicine and surgery. We encourage client participation in decision making and respect the uniqueness of each cat. Each cat is treated with dignity and compassion, as if they were truly our own. Village Cat Clinic welcomes new clients, emergencies, second opinions, transfers and of course our regular clients.
Our hospital is equipped to provide your pet with routine medical care, including preventive health care, laser therapy, radiography, ultrasound, dentistry, and surgery.
We also provide emergency care.
Village Cat Clinic is a member of the CVO (College of Veterinarians of Ontario), OVMA (Ontario Veterinary Medical Association), AAFP (American Association of Feline Practitioners), Cornell Feline Health Centre, ABVP (American Board of Veterinary Practitioners), CVMA (Canadian Veterinary Medical Association), Veterinary Information Network (VIN) and the Hamilton Veterinary Academy.
We are active locally and across the country for our charity work in the pursuit of supporting cats and their needs.
Dr. O'Brien has volunteered her time to go all over Canada representing Care for Cats, championing "The Year of the Cat" initiative by creating a greater awareness of responsible cat ownership.
