SPCA Hamilton/BurlingtonFeral Cat Program

In partnership with the Hamilton Burlington SPCA, The Cat Clinic piloted a trap-neuter-release program in 2004 in hopes of developing a program that will reduce the stray and feral population in Hamilton.

Today, the Feral Cat Program has neutered and vaccinated over 200 cats in Hamilton and the surrounding areas.  We are happy to announce that the program has grown to now include the participation of 5 veterinary hospitals in Hamilton!  The Cat Clinic, Village Cat Clinic, Gagemount Animal Hospital, Millen Road Animal Hospital and West Park Animal Hospital.

Feral Cat ProgramWe are also proud to acknowledge the help of some of our reputable veterinary companies and their help with donation of product for the program.  Merial Canada, Pfizer Animal Health and Bayer Healthcare.
